Meaning:
O Most Supreme Lord Shiva, Thy Lingam is a Symbol of Beginninglessness. All Thy Names and Forms are Merged into The Lingam. The Lingam is the Fittest Symbol of The All Pervasive, The All Knowing, The All Powerful, Everything submerged in ONE Formless Supreme Self. Thy Linga is Eternal, Inexhaustible, Imperishable and is The Embodiment of The Supreme Soul which is Magnificiently Effulgent. Full of Luster and Splendour and it is The Destroyer of all evil. We sing the praises and worship The Formless Supreme Self, Who is a Marvellous Phenomenon. The Lingam has the Insignia of a Cobra and is studded with nine precious gems. Just as ‘Om’ is the ‘Sound Symbol’ of God, similarly The Linga is the ‘Form Symbol’ of God. Thou art Lord Sri Narayana – The Saviour and Sustainer of all and Mother Lakshmi, Who is The Goddess of Wealth and Prosperity is Thy Beloved Divine Consort. From Thy Navel, Immerged The Divine Lotus and seated on it is Lord Brahma The Creator. O Most Beloved Divine Lord of Parthi we sing The Divine Glory of The Shiva Linga which is Thy Absolute Form.
